This workshop helps women to manage the transition from maternity leave back to work. The aim is to help women perform at their best both at home and at work. Returning to work can be a challenge for many women:
Our Solutions
We have a range of solutions to support you and your team. From our Mumager workshop for Mums returning from maternity leave, to bite sized workshops for working parents and managers
of women feel guilty about being a working parent
of parents find balancing parenting and work stressful
of women feel conflicted in their ability to balance family and career

The workshop is very interactive and draws on practical techniques from positive psychology. We focus on re-defining values, establish boundaries between work and home, overcoming guilt and building resilience. In-house workshops encourage women to form networks and continue to support one another long after the workshop has ended.

The way we parent has changed. Most families now find that they are equal partners when it comes to working and looking after their children. In this workshop we look at topics such as priorities; setting boundaries; being a team at home; and building our resilience.
As an employer – showing that you value working parents can make a real difference – individuals feel up to 4 times more engaged when they feel supported.
New Dads workshop – adjusting to life as a new parent whilst also having to perform at [TG1] work can be challenging for new Dads. This 2-hour workshop gives Dads practical advice to manage the transition.
If you’d like to run either of these sessions in your workplace contact us to find out more.
This is an in-house workshop for line managers.
Most organisations have a commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace. However, according to the CEB (2015) there is a lack of knowledge about how to do this. Research shows that 77% of employees won’t speak up about struggling to balance work [TG2] and home, yet the majority of managers say that working parent burnout is avoidable.
Being a manager isn’t an easy job. Being fair and consistent, whilst treating people as individuals brings challenges. This bite sized workshop gives managers the opportunity to recognise the benefits of a diverse and inclusive team, before considering how they can actively provide support.
During the workshop we explore how individual managers interpret company policy specifically around different types of parental leave. The challenge is to treat people fairly across their business whilst recognising that ‘one size’ doesn’t fit all.
Finally, not everyone in their team will be a working parent – so we challenge Managers to be more aware of unconscious bias that they may have within their team.
